The Association has a total of 50.2 surface acres of lakes. The lakes were sealed by compacting two six-inch layers of chemically treated dirt. Even after 25 years, the bottom and sides are in excellent condition. It is apparent that little if any loss is being experienced through seepage. This can be attributed to the excellent design of the lakes and the work of Seepage Control, Inc. I would not hesitate to recommend Seepage Control, Inc. for work in your lake.
The Lakes Community, Tempe, Arizona
In the summer of 1988 we contracted Seepage Control to oversee the complete renovation of the island putting green at the clubhouse... Seepage Control bid a very competitive price and approached our challenge in a most professional manner. I was sold on their services. I have dealt with few services that go beyond what is expected, and Seepage Control left me feeling confident in the completed project. I will definitely call on them on all of my future projects.

The ESS-13 did a great job on my pond. I poured it in the water, and it worked just like it was supposed to. I am very pleased with the results.

We are pleased we selected Seepage Control’s ESS-13 as the product to seal our lake. The lake was frozen over during the winter months and now that the ice has thawed, it does not appear that there has been the slightest bit of water loss or seepage. Because there is only a limited amount of new water available in this high desert area, minimum seepage is extremely important to the success of our lake. Given the virtual absence of any seepage to date, we are extremely impressed with the performance of ESS-13.

Please accept this letter as a strong reference for Seepage Control. They did some wonderful work for us on a pond at Fair Oaks Country Club. We were very pleased with their work and definitely would not hesitate to request their services for any future jobs.

I was first introduced to SS-13 (now “ESS-13”) in 1965 on a golf course project in Phoenix, Arizona. The Peppermill Palms Golf Course that I designed in Mesquite, Nevada has a total of 26 acres of lakes that were sculpted from the desert floor. The engineers from Seepage Control, Inc. determined that it would be best to make a mixture of soil and SS-13 to line the lakes...the end result has been very positive, with the lakes full and holding well. I like SS-13, not only for its control of water loss, but I do not have the worry of mechanical damage to the walls of my lakes.
